Bhigwan - Wildlife Photography Workshop - 18-19th October 2025

Bhigwan, A Paradise for Flamingos to Eagles, Wolfs to Hyenas. Around 100 kms away from Pune, exists a small town, also referred to as the “Bharatpur of Maharashtra”, as it hosts thousands of migratory birds during the winter. One of the major attractions of Bhigwan is the arrival of the greater flamingos with the onset of the migratory season. However, the area is studded with many other different species of birds including Harriers, Osprey, Herons, Cormorants, Egrets, Kingfishers, ducks, geese and many more.

Itinerary

Day 1 :

At 6.00 am leave From Hotel by Scorpio. Morining session we go for Wolf / Hyena and some raptors, Breakfast on the way.. 

Post lunch we will do around 3pm till sunset we will go ahead with boat safari.

After 6pm to Hotelt for dinner and night stay.

Day 2 :

Pick us up from Hotel at 5:00 am to go for Owls / Raptors.
Breakfast on the way.
We will Return for lunch and leave by 3:00 pm for Evening Grassland Safari for Harriers and try for Fox

After 6pm to Hotel for dinner and night stay.

Day 3 :

Pick us up from Kranthi flamingo point at 5:00 am to go for Water birds like Flamingos, Ducks and Osprey

Post Breakfast at 9.00 am. Lunch at 12.30 pm and leave for Hyderabad.

Things to carry:

• Telephoto lenses – preferably above 400 mm for birds
• Carry fully charged batteries for your camera / flash.
• Carry battery charger. Carry extra pack of camera batteries
• Carry backup memory cards / HDD storage drives, Laptop
• Carry a bean bag to stabilize your gears while shooting from boat & Car
• It is advisable to carry basic first aid along with you.
• Please carry Odomos to keep you protected from mosquito bites.
• Carry good binoculars

Package Cost

Rs. 22000 INR per head inclusive of all taxes

Cost does not include :

1. Mineral Water, Soft Drinks, Laundry Charges, Phone Calls, Tips etc.
2. Any kind of insurance, Medical or/and Emergency Charges.
3. Any extra meals not included in the above itinerary

Cancellation policy

1. All cancellations before 30 days of the event date - 100% credit
2. All cancellations between 20 - 30 days of the event date - 50% credit
3. All cancellations within 20 days of the event date - No credit possible
